From our sketchbooks to the weaver’s shuttle. We are blending the rich history of Indian handloom with our own contemporary design language. Get ready to experience the loom like never before with patterns and concepts distinctively crafted by SUTA-SAGA.
YUG means an era. We chose the name because this collection marks a new chapter for us — our own patterns and concepts, handed to skilled artisans to bring to life on the loom.
The First Drop: Pure Tissue Silk Sarees
The launch collection features six Pure Tissue Silk handloom sarees in a Tissue Chanderi weave, each with a contrasting pink border and pallu. Here is what makes them special:
- Luminous Shine: Tissue silk has a liquid-like sheen that catches the light with every movement — made for festive evenings and celebrations.
- Feather-Light Drape: The fabric is soft and lightweight, so the pallu falls gracefully and the saree stays easy to manage through long functions.
- Clean, Modern Design: A minimal body lets the fabric’s natural glow take centre stage, framed by a bold magenta-pink border.
- Exclusive to SUTA-SAGA: Every design in YUG is ours, from the first sketch to the final weave.
Choose from Off-white, Light Turquoise, Baby Pink, Pastel Green, Yellow and Silver — each paired with pink. Every saree is 6.5 metres long, including a running blouse piece.
